Abraham Quiros Villalba

Hi,
I'm Abraham
Quiros Villalba

I sold my oil wells in Saudi Arabia to build massive solar farms in Texas, USA. I sell electricity and consult with companies like EnronIQ on energy production.

I invested in Bitcoin in 2013 and sold 50% of my stake in 2023. Now, I advise individuals on crypto investments and financial literacy.

With a keen interest in technology, I am currently developing an AI platform that guides individuals in stock market trading, predicts cryptocurrency prices, and identifies investment-ready unicorn startups before they go public.

Where Innovation Meets Impact: My Investment Vision

People know me for championing renewable energy, but investment is where I connect purpose with progress. I’ve never seen capital as just a means to wealth. To me, it’s a tool to fund innovation, spark ethical development, and support industries that shape a better world. From early bets on Bitcoin to green tech startups and AI-driven platforms, my portfolio is built around one belief: profit and purpose can, and should, coexist.

My Life Journey

From humble beginnings to building ventures that span continents, my journey has always been driven by purpose, curiosity, and resilience. I’ve worn many hats: engineer, founder, investor, and sustainability advocate, but every step has been rooted in the desire to create lasting impact. This isn’t just my professional path; it’s a personal mission to build, invest, and lead with intention.

1978 – Early Life Begins

I was born in 1978, in a modest family that valued education, exploration, and the relentless pursuit of possibility. My early years were shaped by a fascination with how things work, particularly machines, power systems, and the unseen forces that drive the world.

1997 – Graduation in Electrical Engineering

After years of curiosity-driven learning, I earned my degree in Electrical Engineering in 1997. This formal education gave me the technical foundation I needed to explore the real-world energy sector, and later, challenge it.

2000 – The First Big Move: Oil in Saudi Arabia

I entered the global energy market by working in the oil fields of Saudi Arabia. By 2000, I had made my first major investment, acquiring wells and learning the business from the inside. For over a decade, oil funded my life, but it never aligned with my values about sustainability or long-term innovation.

2007 – Entrepreneurship & A Shift in Vision

The entrepreneur in me began asking bigger questions. I sold off smaller assets, reinvested in infrastructure, and started mapping out a future beyond oil. This was also the beginning of my writing and consulting work, sharing ideas on energy transformation and innovation.

2013 – The Crypto Leap

When Bitcoin was barely known and widely dismissed, I bought in. The blockchain, decentralization, and new model of trust fascinated me. I knew this technology would change the financial world, and I wanted to be part of it early on.

2015 – Solar Takes Over

Having fully exited oil by now, I poured everything into solar. Texas, with its wide-open land and sun-rich climate, became my laboratory. I built utility-scale solar farms that still generate clean electricity today. I also began consulting with companies like EnronIQ on next-gen energy strategy.

2020 – Launch of Community Program

Seeing how many people were still left out of energy innovation and financial education, I launched a free-access community program to support learning around renewable energy and digital assets.

2023 – Major Crypto Exit

I sold 50% of my Bitcoin holdings in 2023, achieving the kind of financial liquidity most only dream of. That success allowed me to further expand my ventures and help others do the same.

Present – Building AI to Predict the Future

Today, I’m working on a powerful AI platform designed to decode the markets: predicting crypto trends, spotting pre-IPO unicorns, and guiding stock trades. The next decade will be shaped by those who innovate boldly, and I intend to stay at the forefront.

From Green Energy to Green Portfolios

After selling my oil wells in Saudi Arabia, I turned to building solar farms in Texas, not because it was easy, but because it was right. I bring that same mindset to my investment decisions. Every dollar I invest is a vote for the future I want to help create.

I back ventures in clean tech, decentralized finance (DeFi), and ethical AI, not because they’re trendy, but because they solve real, global problems like energy scarcity, climate risk, and financial exclusion.

Here’s what I look for:

Transparency

Projects with open, decentralized governance, like blockchain systems.

Efficiency

Technologies that reduce waste and maximize sustainability.

Scalability

Solutions that can grow globally and challenge the status quo.

I Spotted Bitcoin Early, Now Helping People Master the Crypto Game

Back in 2013, while most were ridiculing Bitcoin, I was already in. It wasn’t luck, it was conviction. The decentralization of value, trustless architecture, and global liquidity model weren’t just buzzwords; they were inevitable.

I held my position through crashes and rallies. In 2023, I sold 50% of my stake and used the learnings to empower others. I don’t speculate, I strategize. I help others navigate the world of crypto by translating noise into knowledge.

I now work with individuals, families, and corporate teams to build robust cryptocurrency strategies. I’ve helped clients make decisions that preserved wealth during bear markets and grew it during bull runs.

My consulting is grounded in three pillars:

Where I Invest

I don’t invest based on trends, I invest where innovation meets real-world need. My capital is directed toward sectors that are reshaping industries, empowering people, and solving global problems. Whether it’s a clean energy startup, a crypto protocol with real utility, or AI that unlocks smarter financial decisions, I back ventures that have purpose baked into their business model.

Cryptocurrency & Blockchain

Crypto isn’t a fad; it’s a framework for financial inclusion. Since investing in Bitcoin in 2013, I’ve expanded my focus to: Utility-focused coins (Bitcoin, Ethereum)

Green Tech Startups

Clean energy isn’t a side project; it’s my origin story. I continue to back:

AI-Driven Innovation

AI isn’t just about algorithms; it’s about access. I fund platforms that:

The AI That Sees Before the Market Moves

Markets aren’t made of numbers alone. They’re made of people, of fear, greed, confidence, hesitation, and anticipation. Most trading platforms stop at analytics. But I’ve always believed there’s a layer beneath the charts, one that can be decoded with the right technology.

That’s why I’m building an AI-powered platform designed to think like an investor and react like a strategist.

This isn’t just a tool. It’s an evolving system that learns from:

  • Historical trading data – across decades, sectors, and macro events
  • Real-time price feeds – for stocks, cryptocurrencies, and commodities
  • Sentiment analysis – pulling from media, social platforms, forums, and expert commentary
  • Startup ecosystem trends – monitoring seed funding, pitch decks, and early-stage traction data

Together, these data layers help the AI make nuanced predictions that go beyond standard technical indicators. Imagine knowing which cryptocurrency could spike before it breaks the news cycle, or identifying unicorn startups before they’re on anyone else’s radar.

We’re currently in beta testing, working with a select group of traders, angel investors, and analysts. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, especially around the AI’s ability to adapt to volatile conditions and detect price movement patterns tied to non-obvious factors like social chatter or niche funding announcements.

This platform isn’t built for high-frequency trading. It’s designed for the long game, for the investor who values information edge, timing, and strategy.

If you’re serious about unlocking the next generation of investing, I invite you to join us.

My Risk Philosophy & Its Outcomes

I don’t chase trends, I challenge them. Every investment I make passes through a disciplined three-part filter: due diligence, where I assess the team, roadmap, and underlying tech; long-term thinking, prioritizing projects with endurance over temporary hype; and diversification, spreading capital across sectors like green energy, fintech, crypto, and AI to maintain balance. But above all, impact matters,if a venture lacks ethical grounding, it doesn’t earn my support. This approach has turned capital into catalyst. It’s helped green energy startups expand globally, supported blockchain pilots in education and finance, and backed a carbon credit dApp that promotes environmental accountability. For me, strong returns and meaningful outcomes are not mutually exclusive, they’re the standard.

Investing for the Next Generation

My investments aren’t just for me, they’re for whoever inherits this planet. Whether it’s a blockchain protocol that increases transparency or a solar startup powering remote villages, each investment is a step toward a better world. If you’re building something that merges innovation with impact, I want to hear from you.

FAQs – What You May Want to Know About AQV

Curious about my investment philosophy, background, or the kind of projects I back? This section answers the most common questions people ask me about where I invest, why I pivoted from oil to renewables, and how I choose to share insights that matter. It’s all here, straightforward and unfiltered.
What’s different about AQV’s perspective?
AQV isn’t built on trends or algorithms; it’s rooted in clarity, curiosity, and conviction. I share what I believe in, not what performs well on social feeds. Whether investing or writing, I approach each decision through a long-term lens. It’s an independent voice shaped by research, resilience, and a refusal to follow noise.
Ethical investing is value-driven, choosing companies based on personal principles. ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) investing evaluates companies using measurable sustainability and ethical metrics. While ESG is data-focused, ethical investing is belief-led. Many investors blend both approaches to align financial returns with moral values and long-term societal impact.
Writing helps clarify my thinking and opens the door for dialogue. I share ideas, market observations, and hard-earned lessons not to teach, but to invite others into the journey. My content avoids fluff and reflects first-hand experience navigating cycles, risks, and conviction. It’s for anyone who values nuance over noise.
Early-stage ventures often lack proven models, making them riskier. But they also have the highest growth potential and the lowest entry cost. With careful research, backing the right team and idea early can deliver exponential returns. It’s about informed conviction, not speculation.
Start by following industry leaders, reading reports from groups like IRENA or BNEF, and analyzing trends in solar, wind, and storage. Look at what major funds are backing. Clean tech investing requires understanding regulation, infrastructure needs, and scalability. Podcasts, case studies, and community forums also help build confidence.
No tool can predict markets perfectly, but AI can identify hidden patterns and signals across data sets humans often miss. It’s a probability enhancer, not a crystal ball. When paired with human strategy, AI becomes a powerful tool for timing, risk management, and uncovering asymmetric opportunities.
Beyond product, evaluate the team’s track record, market size, revenue model, user growth, and adaptability. Check legal compliance, scalability, and values alignment. Look at who else is backing them. Due diligence, especially in early-stage deals, reduces emotional investing and increases success odds.
Energy powers everything, and finance funds it. Investment decisions shape how societies generate, distribute, and access power. From fossil fuel subsidies to green bonds and carbon trading, money influences what energy systems thrive. Financial models can either perpetuate old systems or help transform them.
Know your goals, long-term holding, diversification, yield, or active trading. Be clear on your risk appetite and current portfolio (if any). Bring questions, be open about past mistakes, and come ready to learn. Crypto strategy isn’t about hype, it’s about structure.
I’m open to collaborating with founders, researchers, or fellow investors exploring clean tech, DeFi, or sustainable infrastructure. Whether it’s an idea exchange or deeper project involvement, head to the contact page. I value thoughtful outreach, meaningful intent, and aligned vision. If you’re building something real, I’d love to hear about it.
